Hi moshin,

As been discussed recently, if you are running an AdWords account with tech support ads, you need to follow AdWords User Safety policy. please review the information below for details on the policy.

We have longstanding policies against ads, websites, and businesses that appear to be generally deceptive or misleading to our users. The primary concern of this space is our user’s safety. Per the User Safety Policy, we we do not allow businesses that we feel may pose a harm to our users.

We take many factors into consideration when assessing User Safety compliance. Our review is extensive and we cover a number of areas to ensure we are reaching an accurate conclusion. In many cases these issues are not fixable, as the fundamentals of the business itself is the primary concern. As always, you can contact support via email (https://support.google.com/adwords/go/contactus) or submit a suspension appeal here. (https://support.google.com/adwords/contact/pf_suspended )

John,
Thanks for writing in. The problem is,everyone tries to follow the User Safety Policy, But no one exactly knows why the account gets suspended. With no precise answer, even from Top members and you ( Pardon me if i am wrong ), people from this industry are not sure what to do. Google itself is not coming out to say that they have banned the tech support. I can see many ads running which are misleading itself because i have worked in those organizations and trust me on that, Their offices doesnt even look like offices. John,What we need is transparency which is not there, Not even in your answers ( they are scripted ) rather than a personal opinion. You can't even imagine how many people would suffer ( are suffering - to be precise ) because of this. At Least google should be clear rather than these fake statements..

Sumit,

Thanks for your reply. I understand you and the other previous posters' concern about this issue. This is the current policy which as described is about protecting User Safety. My only suggestion is to make sure your ad, website and business process is compliant with this and all the other Adwords Policy. You also have the opportunity to request reconsideration which I can send you the link if you like.

Hi John

Hi Sumit,

I have been following this current hot topic about Tech Support and it makes me feel really sad. Mainly because

This community which is meant to help all users irrespective of whether they are business owners / advertisers / agency.. has provided no answer to people who are suffering because of sudden account suspensions.

Dear Paul, Google suspended the accounts on grounds of Policy Violation - agreed and i still believe that you guys are out there to help.

The question now is NOT why they have suspended accounts without prior warning. But People are frustrated because you have not treated all of them alike, Google is still displaying ads of www.guruaid.com, www.iyogi.com, www.myphonesupport.com which people think is biased decision. They are openly violating policies. It can't be that you are not able to track their violation - sounds literally funny.

I have read the official announcement posted by you. It talks about business model as a whole as deceptive. I would like to take this opportunity to ask on behalf of all people and dear Paul i still hope that you will provide helpful answers to all of them.

1. Is the Tech Support business model not allowed to advertise on Google from now onwards?

2. Why Google is biased in suspending the accounts when even a layman can see few advertisers openly violating policies and still able to advertise on Google?

We all Love Google because it gives us business and its our duty to make sure we never do anything to hurt your reputation. We all know User experience and safety has always been your main concern thats what makes you likeful and trustworthy to users. I still believe you will provide helpful answers to the above 2 questions.

Thank you.

Hi Adwords,

Thank you for your feedback and comments. Please understand that Google is not targetting any specific industries. As I have mentioned in previous posts, any Advertiser or website that violates Google's User Safety can and will have their account suspended. If you or any other Advertisers notices unfair or violation of the Adwords policies on another website or ad, you will need to file a complaint on this form. Each complaint will then be evaluated by our specialist team and appropriate action will be taken, if required.

Unfortunately we cannot comment on the parameters regarding any unsuspended accounts.

Thank you Paul

What i can extract from this is -- Guys Please read all policies before attempting any business promotion on Adwords.

As far as Tech Support goes - Most ignored policies have been - User Safety, Trademark, Unclear Billing, Double Serving etc..

You can find the List of All Policies Here

I am sure we all will come out with a solution on this.. We just need to strictly go through all the policies and guidelines.

A very Good Luck to ALL - Cheers!

Google will not hear on anybody like this... I suggest people... filing a court case against Google for unfair business practice will help when thousands of cases will be filled then they will understand the meaning of user safety...

Consumer court or simple court case it to be put and Google business might be stopped in India...

Believe me this can happen - all should be given a fair chance in this democracy why just iyogi and few others are advertising.
