Valentine’s Day Tips

Hi all,

This Community has shared some wonderful tips on how to succeed before Valentine’s Day. That’s why I’ve decided to compile a post of useful resources for you to read and try out.

Last year Inside AdWords blog post Love at first Seach stated, “Valentine’s Day is now the number two gift giving holiday, right behind Christmas, with 88% of Americans saying they plan on giving a present to their loved ones.” This is a powerful finding that marketers shouldn't ignore. The post further analyzed that “last year (2011) people began looking for Valentine’s Day ideas on January 9th. This year (2012) the upward trend began two days earlier, on January 7th.” Well, now, if you check the Google Trends site, you can clearly see from the graph that the search for gift ideas started to grow around January, 5th.

Thanks, Mini.

And one more useful resource

It doesn't matter if it's Black Friday, Halloween or Valentine's Day, you can build your AdWords seasonal campaign and use it when you need it. If this is tempting enough and you'd like to learn more about how to create a campaign around a specific season or holiday, read this useful AdWords help center article

Thank you all, and don't forget to share some love tomorrow!
