Stolen phone

Some ash... stole my android phone that is linked to google. Can I track my phone? If not anyway to delete my data, email etc?

Hi Jv,


This is the Google Adwords community, your questions are a bit outside of what the folks here are working on.  What I would suggest is to first change any Google passwords you may have, from there, I don't know what to say.  From what I understand, tracking programs are usually apps that are installed by you.


Contact your service provider and see if they have anything to offer.

Jv, that sucks!
Not an expert at this, but your Google account does not depend on your device (provided you have chosen the nifty "Synch all" feature)

Then all is stored in the cloud and If you no longer have the phone, just log in from a computer.

Tom's advice is spot on.

Also, if you have Latitude enabled on your phone and shared with a friend, you can use his/her phone to locate yours... But stay away from crooks.
