Why Google allows the sites like 'iminent.com' to be a Google partner?

Hello,

This is just my point of view.

But look a little closely to this site. It has nothing. For every search, it shows 2 google ads, then some google/yahoo search results and google ads at the end.

This is defenately focused to monetize user clicks from google (or maybe yahoo/msn) ads.

Regards,

Valery.

Hi EF,

I am using AdWords and I am getting clicks from 'iminent.com' site. I am not sure this somehow relates to AdSence.

Valery.

It relates to Adsense  because you get your clicks from the so called Display Network , which is the Mother of Adsense ( although Google is not verry clear about that in their information about the Display Network)

The website you get  those clicks from is simply participating in AdSense.  With the more strickt control of rules/guidelines  on AdSense  i can imagion that that particular website won't be an AdSense partner for long.

Do you know if these clicks are originating from the search partner network or the display network?  If from the display network, you can exclude placements from that site.  See:

http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=112273

If it's a search partner, there is not currently an equivalent exclusion mechanism.

Hi,

This relates to 'search partner network'.

For example, on the 4th of Feb, I got click from "http://search.iminent.com/SearchTheWeb/v4/1040/homepage/Default.aspx" with gclid=CM7zrOiuhK4CFQGFDgodtSrw2Q.

Regards,

Valery.

Call Google and ask them to manually remove that search partner from your distribution network.  I believe that is the only option, other than opting out of the entire search partner network.

Had no idea there's such an option. Bookmarked.

2RBall,

That is just a workaround, and most probably I will do this.

And it is not clear for me who decide that my question is answered and the solutions are from "marketsharer" and "RBall". I see two green circle with a tick. I thought that can be done only by whom asked the question.
